THY WILL BE DONE: CORRECT ME
“If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with son; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sins.” (Hebrews 12vs7-8, KJV)
For the will of God to be done it start from the heart. If the heart isn’t checked and corrected the will of God can’t be done. Many people aren’t functioning well in their area of jurisdiction because of what they believe. Everyone has an assignment in the kingdom and carrying it out is necessary for His will to be done . If the will of God will be done me must open our heart for corrections and discover our assignment in the kingdom. Before you can be corrected, it means you have an assignment you are working on. Most people know their assignment in the kingdom but are not following the proper and exact was for the execution, so when God corrects you, it is to teach you the right thing to do for the fulfillment of the portion of assignnment given to you.
God’s will is like a picture (a knowledge known to God), hence he allocates each part of the picture to men for His will to be done on earth. We know when water touches a picture it disfigures that picture that is how it is when men don’t do well in carrying out God’s plan and God will never let his plan fail. He will rather take that portion and entrust it to another man, but when God corrects you regarding His will, it is so that you are better at His work.
God corrects us because He loves us so much, hence, He doesn’t want us to be left out of His eternal glory.
You don’t need to hear a specific voice from God for you to be corrected. When you study the word of God and it dwells richly in you and you continue to follow the patterns of the scriptures, you are now being structured according to the will of God to be done.
If you aren’t corrected by God you aren’t yet a son. You can’t continue to pray for the will of God to be done when you are still living in sin. If you truly desire the correction of God you must let go of your evil ways. Hebrews 12:1. If the will of God must be done; it must be built on righteousness, holiness, and purity.
As believers when God corrects us, He is preparing us for the victory and the glory ahead.
When God corrects us, He is setting us up for our high calling.
The Holy Spirit helps a man to retrace his steps back to God. Those who know where they missed it and refuse to return to their Source, can not do the will of God.
Prayer point
Jesus, give me a new heart that can accommodate your will and renew the right spirit within me.
Father, please give me the grace to listen to correction in Jesus' name.
