Thy Will Be Done: Anoint me
“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49 (KJV)
Anointing is the power of God working in people, it is required for us to be able to do the works that God has ordained us to do. In Acts 10:38 the Bible tells us how Jesus Christ did many great works because he was anointed with the Holy Ghost and power, likewise, as vessels, we need a similar anointing to be able to do the great works that God has ordained for us.
Let Us Pray:
Father, we thank You for the salvation of our souls and for the privilege to be able to commune with You as a Father.
Please anoint us with the Holy Ghost and power so that we can go about doing good and the people who see our good works will glorify Your name, in Jesus' name.
