Grant Me access: Jesus, the Key (2)
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:" John 1:12 (NKJV)
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6 (NKJV)
God is the creator of heaven, earth, and everything in heaven and on earth, including all existing life forms (see Genesis 1: 1-31). Our purpose on earth however as human beings are to please God. It is impossible to please by our strength alone, all men are sinful by nature, and God is a Holy One, He cannot accept sinful people in their sins, this is why we need Jesus to be able to access God. There is no other way to God except Jesus Christ John 14:6. People who have access to God are the children of God because Jesus gave them the right to be (John 1:12).
If you would like to be a child of God, say this prayer;
Thank You, God, for sending Jesus your only begotten Son to the world so that He can die for my sins and make me able to approach Your presence in His righteousness.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for dying so that I can have eternal life in You.
God please, forgive me of all my sins and unrighteousness.
I receive Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Saviour from sin and its consequences.
Father, please help me to please you with my life from today, and for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name, I pray.
