Altering the Enemy’s Zone
“ For we wrestle not against the flesh and blood, but against principalities, against power, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 (KJV).
Two key things that you must know: First of all, we must understand the meaning of the word alter which means to change. Secondly, we must know our enemy.
From the very day we gave our lives to Christ we became satan’s enemy, and he doesn’t stop until he sees the children of God failing and losing so he comes in diverse way to break the peace of the children of God.
Before we can alter the enemy’s zone, we must recognize the tactics of the enemy:
Fear: It is common these days that satan makes many believers fear what tomorrow may bring to them, but the word of God assures us that only the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Fame: These days, many believers want to go viral and not spiritual, so the enemy comes with nice packages and we think it is the will of God but rather it is destruction in disguise as a child of God nothing is meant to be placed above Jesus in your heart that is why the Bible says he is the rewarder of all who diligently seek his face, we should not be carried away by the noise and pressure of the world we should always remember we are not of this world. For us to alter the enemy’s tactics, we must stay in the place of fellowship with God and be obedient to his voice, for the word of God say as many that are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God.
Hence to alter the enemy’s zone, you must disrupt his plans and be in charge. You’re moving his hands off your life, home and family and taking over his territories.
You can’t do these things based o your understanding but according to the wisdom of God. “Be sober be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion, walketh always seeking who he may devour” 1 Peter 5:8
As children of God, we need to always be alert and find out those places that the enemy is busy occupying in our lives, then we must send him away.
Prayer point
O lord use me to disrupt the plans of the enemy–exposing all his dirty plans and tricks.
Father, please don’t let the enemy overcome me. I take charge and I overturn it. I take authority over the devil and his cohorts. In Jesus' name. Amen!
