THY SPIRIT (1)

“And the LORD God formed Man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7, KJV)

Being a Spirit is one of the characteristics of God. In John 4:23-24, God is called spirit not simply because he is immaterial and not bound by place, but because He is the source of a new life and worship that is different from the previous dispensation.

The Bible described the spirit as the ‘Breath’ of God. As we can see “job 33:4, The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life”.

The spirit is true, it will always guide you. The spirit of God is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity and he works hand in hand with God and Jesus.

The Holy Spirit acts as a conscience leading people to know the difference between right and wrong.

Now let’s learn about Samson in the Bible: He experienced the Holy Spirit but he didn’t obey his instructions. Gradually, the Holy Spirit left him and he lost his power (judges 16:4-21).

If you can submit yourself to the Holy Spirit, you will never regret any mistake in your life. Henceforth, desire and pursue a beautiful relationship with the holy spirit.
