Favour for Those Trusting God for Divine Recommendations
"But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee. Let our Lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Beth-lehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him. Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with the sheep." 1 Samuel 16:14-19 KJV.
A divine recommendation is when God orchestrates circumstances so that people will recommend you where you are needed. This does not require your effort, it only requires the favour of God.
From the passage that we read earlier, you’d see how David did not even know he was being recommended while the king’s servant recommended him, he did not even lobby to be recommended, but God recommended him because it was necessary for his destiny as God’s anointed king of Israel.
Today, we will pray for divine recommendations where it is relevant to our purposes and destinies.
Let us pray:
Father, we thank You because you have given us all that we need for life and godliness.
We thank You, Father because when we ask from You, we will receive.
Lord, let me be recommended in the places where I need to be to move to my next level.
Father, please recommend me to people that need the solutions You have placed in me.
Father, the recommendations that I need so that I will fulfil my purpose and destiny according to Your perfect will for me, please let them come to pass.
Thank you Father for answering my prayers today. In Jesus' powerful name, I pray.
Amen!!!
Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a daily basis. Its always useful to read content from other authors and practice something from their websites.
