YOUR HEART: Thy Truth

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17, KJV).

Welcome to another edition of When People Pray!

This month, we will be taking you through a series of topics on Your Heart. Please, avoid missing any of this. As usual, we will also pray.

The heart is a mass of the body where decisions about life and death are made. For example, issues like salvation are dealt with in the heart.

A man who does not know his God is going to be in trouble because the devil is a buffet planner, making ready a table of catchy wrong choices and lies before him and if he is not guided by the Spirit of the Lord, he is in for the wrong diets.

Not everything that seems true is the truth! Are you in a relationship where you suddenly think that your partner thinks the worst of you? Check it!

Not every voice that speaks to you is worth listening to… Ask the Lord for clarity…! The truth you know is better than the lies that you do not know.

“Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life”

Proverbs 4:23, NASB

Why should we even believe everything that comes to our heads, on what grounds? The Bible says we should test every spirit!

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world”

1 John 4:1, KJV

Many relationships have been ruined today due to one misconception or the other. Friendships, marriages, courtships that should have birth life have borne jealousy, hatred, and all forms of wickedness, just because of the lies the parties believed. Are you also a victim of this? Nip the evil the bud by asking questions rather than accepting the lies that your head feeds you with.

Please, pray!

Heavenly Father, please give me the wisdom to discern the truth at all times.

Every relationship that I have ruined unintentionally, please give me the wisdom to build them again.

Please restore me and all mine, today.

In the name of Jesus, Amen!
