YOUR FEET (2)
Taking Over Territories (Workplace)
“Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace” (Ephesians 6:15, TPT)
“Your lives are like salt among the people. But if you, like salt, become bland, how can your ‘saltiness’ be restored? Flavorless salt is good for nothing and will be thrown out and trampled on by others” (Matthew 5:13, TPT)
Just as you already know, the feet are an instrument of greatness—taking humans to great places where they explore their natural gifts, skills, and knowledge. It is not hearsay that you will meet with people from different walks of life, traditions, beliefs, and more, there are the standing organizational cultures that you will meet with. The workplace is a great place to test your faith—whether you are born again or not.
Games played at the workplace are similar to that of a chess game, some are Bishops, Queens, Kings, knights, Rooks, and Pawns. There are strategies, rules, and played politics of importance. Some are bound by rules, while some are not. It is a game for the wise. Newbies are targeted as pawns and played on, but those who know the tactics can stand ready for any attack.
As wise people of God, you must be flavored up—knowing what to frown at and what to smile at is very important for your survival and safety. If you are foolish to allow anything due to your ignorance or fear, you would be sorry eventually. Wisdom sought at the place of prayer will give you direction. Strength gotten at the place of prayer will uphold you. The word of God that you chew upon will fill you up against all wiles.
Ignorance can be costly, don’t be!
If you are empty, you will give room to be filled by anything. Be prepared…!
Let Us Pray
r, Father, thank you because you first worked and have taught my hands to work too.
Dear Father, please let your mercy speak to those who are yet to get jobs and grant them access to workplaces. In Jesus' name.
Father, please make me relevant in every workplace that I find myself in. In Jesus' name!
Lord, please protect me from the wiles and tricks of the workplace. Don't let me settle for less or be short-changed in Jesus' name.
Father, please don't let me be put to shame or to put you to shame at my workplace in Jesus' name. Amen!
