Taking Over Territories (Nations Of The World)
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8 (KJV)
“and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace” Ephesians 6:15 (KJV)
If we have the Holy Spirit as Christians, our first anchor Bible text tells us that we need to be witnesses for Jesus Christ everywhere on earth.
While a single person may not be able to witness Jesus Christ throughout the whole earth at once, we always have people around us in our immediate environments; there is a need for these people to know more about Jesus Christ through us. One way to let people know about Jesus is to act like Him, it is easier for someone who does not know God at all or beyond religion to get to know Jesus better when we act like Him. For example, they can see how love for other people does not depend on religion through you, this will let them know that Jesus loves everyone, including them, irrespective of their religion or lack of it.
Being a witness of Jesus is about letting the world know who Jesus is.
One other way to take the territories of nations of the world is by standing in the gap. When Liberia is in turmoil you as a Nigerian must pray for your brothers out there. This is true Christianity.
Let us pray:
Father, we thank You because You loved us even before we cared to think about You or Your will.
Father, please help us to find and reach out to souls in dire need of You, but do not know how to go about it. Let our lives draw men to You.
Father, please help us to allow our lights to shine before men so that they will see our good works and glorify Your name.
Father, for every nation going through turbulence, prove yourself as the God of all nations, tribe, and tongue.
Thank you, Father, because You always hear us when we pray.
For in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray.
