My Identity
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11, KJV).
If have you had been with form the first part of this series, you would have learned how your mouth depicts life; how it could become a fantasy tool; how it could also be a sword in use.
It is clear that your mouth is potentially involved in your existence. Your inner content is voiced through your mouth and this gives people an idea of the kind of person that you are.
“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things” (Matthew 12:35, KJV).
How do you want to be perceived by people?
Let the words you bring forth be such that blesses people and blesses your life as well. Overall, let your mouth be a tool to glorify God.
The mandate of God for man in Genesis 1:26b is tied to how you utilize your mouth. Take dominion at the place of prayer. Take dominion by speaking the words of God over your space, home, life, and family.
Take charge over those ugly situations using your mouth to declare the words of God over your life. Speak those plans and visions until they come to reality. Don’t subject yourself to the enemy, rather take your place as the child of the Most High God. Then you will rise to the place of authority as declared by God for you. Do not be silent now!
