THE MOUTH: Life
There are only a few body parts that God made with openings. They are the eyes, the ears, the mouth, the private organs, and the skin.
Of all the listed body parts, the mouth has the widest space. Have you ever wondered why?
Well, if I were to think about that, the first response that comes to mind is eating. After all, we all need mouths to eat.
But then, a more critical look at the questions brings forward more than food to mind.
When a new baby arrives, what is the first body part that the doctors put to work?
The mouth, of course!
Unless the baby cries by itself, the doctor stirs the baby with a light tap to ensure that it makes a sound at birth. This is very important to the baby’s well-being. On hearing the cry of the child, the waiting family members laugh and rejoice because they are assured that the child is alive!
The truth is that the use of your mouth is synonymous with your identity.
Whether you choose to smile, laugh, talk, or be quiet with your mouth, you are only reflecting your identity.
Another truth is that your mouth is the gate to your soul and your manifestations (deeds, accomplishments).
A corrupt or good soul is as the result of the contents within. The moment you speak words, your inner man listens and carries out what you activated with your mouth, which eventually yields your deeds or accomplishments.
You might not be what anyone has said you are, but you are definitely who you say you are.
