My Testimonies (1)

Reminiscing, now… The year 2022 started with a bang but trust me, there were days when I felt the least excited.

Looking through the dusk of time, now, I could remember how I started the year with so many expectations. Meanwhile, some dreams were fulfilled, while others were not because they weren’t the plan that the Lord had for me.

I could remember asking the Lord for a word for 2022 towards the end of the previous year, and He said to me: Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I was so excited when I got the words– positive that things would go my way but no… None of what the Lord did in my life this year 2022 was planned by me.

I have seen God shake the heaven and the earth to birth forth goodness unto me but let me tell you that I didn’t do a thing in the planning.

I saw God take me out of wrong and hurtful relationships, I didn’t do a thing in the planning. I was holding onto the wrong relationships until God brought me out of them.

Sometimes, it may seem as if God is tough, but the end of every discipline is encouragement and joy.

Thank you, Jesus…

What are you grateful to God for?
