My Testimonies (2)

More than a father Christmas, God keeps spreading happiness all year round.

In many white nations, the father Christmas is a more celebrated entity–one who goes around spreading happiness amongst both young and old, giving gifts and fulfilling wishes.

Looking at how the year has been for me, I would say that God has been even far better than a father Christmas could ever be–filling my life with joy on every side and ensuring that my needs are met accordingly in His time. He has taught me to trust in Him even when it seems impossible for my demands to be met. I have seen God make the impossible possible. He has taught me to cast my bread upon the waters.

Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

One great lesson I have learned in 2022 is to trust God like a child —knowing that He always has my best interest at heart. I have learned to depend on God for both the big things and the small, and trust me, He has never failed.

One thing that I am taking into the new year is the covenant of His faithfulness over me. He is faithful.

I was travelling to the redemption camp today and I reminisced over the past–how God has carried me in the midst of so many challenges and responsibilities. All I could see was the faithfulness of God. There were many storms that were going to pull me away and even take my life, but God rose a standard against them and showed himself as strong in my life. Oh my… My eyes saw a lot. I crossed the walkway of death but God came strong and shattered the plans of the enemy, both enemies within and without. Not just that, God made my voice strong, and taught my hands to war.

I am grateful, Lord!

I bring my pot of thanksgiving–pouring out the fragrance unto you, dear Lord. I am grateful!

Thank you for sparing my life. Thank you for being my Strong One.
