The Remedy for Struggles
“Jeremiah 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?” KJV
Is there no Balm in Gilead? I imagine the Lord saying this to those who are in pain.
Oil is significant to healing; ointments, balms and other forms of oils are aesthetic remedies for pain, aches, and stiffness. Oil brings into release from pain and all manner of aches.
Besides, oil also acts as a lubricant; bringing back the ease of movement without struggles.
The Spirit-led life is the remedy for human struggles. While you may be struggling with one aspect of your life, it was never yours to lead in the first place. Until a man gives out an invitation to the Spirit of God to come and take His place, life continues to be a struggle. It will be fatal and a complete disaster to run on the dry because your engine will be damaged. It is very injurious to the health to keep limping in a race without stopping to tend to yourself, you will not only lose the race but you would have damaged your body too. Stop and allow the Oil of ease to tend to you!
An open invitation to the Holy Spirit is the remedy to your aches and struggles.
Don’t you want to wait for Him now?
As Him to come and take over from you. Get up from the wheels and let Him occupy that position in your life.
Surrender to the Holy Ghost and your life will never remain the same again.
