“And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God]” (Daniel 11:32, Amp)

Royal but Fierce: Prince Moses

Hello Dear People of God! How was the previous month for you and yours?

By the mercies of God, this month of October shall be more beautiful and shall be crowned with goodness for you and yours in the name of Jesus. Straight into our topic for today…

Royalty depicts affluence, beauty, ease, control, dominion, influence, responsibility, recognition, and power. Ever wondered why the Bible says “Where the Word of a King is, there is Power…”? Ecclesiastes 8:4. Even the Bible recognizes what Royalty is in a King. It is not the Crown that makes the King a King; it is the royalty in him.

Fierce represents danger, aggressiveness, and ferociousness. When you see a fierce image, person, or animal, no matter how bold you are, your brain immediately alerts you of danger, right? Lol, yeah!
Now, let us do a bit of analysis. The description of royalty and fierce are very contrast, to be honest, almost everyone would gladly submit to royalty than to fierceness. But God in His Almightiness and wisdom decided to put these two opposite contrasts attributes in one Vessel – Moses!

Oh! Moses was a true definition of royalty. History has it that he learned poise, dominion, royalty in the Egyptian palace. He was the envy of his mates; everyone wanted to be like him, but there was a part of him that lots of persons didn’t want – his anger. This was covered up for a while till it couldn’t be covered again. Moses didn’t know that he won’t be able to truly attain and remain in Royalty if his fierceness was not tamed.

Truth be told, everyone has a side of fierceness within them. This is that part of you that roars when you are being cheated, annoyed, or mistreated. Guess what? God knows about it, after all, He put it there; in fact, God has it too; however, God wants you to be in control of your fierceness just as He is with His. Do you doubt it? Check Psalms 37:8a, “Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath.” It is also very important to note that the wrath / fierce nature of men, sponsored by man and nurtured by man cannot and will not perform God’s righteousness. James 1:26.
The only One who combines successfully the nature of being royal and fierce beautifully is the Lord God Almighty! He is slow to anger and even in His anger, He remembers mercy. He is the Lion and the Lamb!

Brethren, God wants you to live a really beautiful and royal life, he wants the enemy to see you and run, He wants you to be a Victor always, however, He doesn’t want your fierceness to control you, neither does He want your life of Royalty to control you. Rather, He desires that you delight in Him and submit yourself to the Holy Ghost! This is the only person who can indeed help us live without sin the ROYAL BUT FIERCE Life.

LET US PRAY

Lord, please, help me, so that I can live the life you have destined for me without taints and stains of anger in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
